Dr Naomi Jiagbogu

My career in brief…I graduated from the University of Manchester with a 1st class Honours degree in Biomedical science and a Masters in Tissue Engineering and regenerative medicine in 2010 I then graduated from University of Birmingham medical school in 2014 . I trained as a GP in both Birmingham and Manchester. I am a practicing GP working in Greater Manchester, and work as a menopause specialist.

What SAMF means to me…SAMF is the place you go to for support which comes in a variety of different ways. Personally, it’s a charity which has guided and supported my own family through a sudden and unexpected circumstance. They allowed me to continue to thrive and develop into the doctor I am today. For that I am forever grateful to SAMF.

My hope for the future of SAMF…I hope SAMF continues to do what it does best, helping and guiding those in the medical profession to get back on their feet and continue to thrive working in the medical profession.
